Who We Are
ASSOCIAZIONE MARE E MONTI
We are an amateur sports association born with the aim of spreading the nautical culture, offering sailing trips around Elba Island, Tuscan Islands, Sardinia and Corsica.
What We Do
SAILING TRIPS
We plan daily trip around the Elba Island, weekend family trip, couple, group of people, private party or single embark. Our destinations include Sardinia, Corsica or Capraia Island.
We also arrange dinner on board in Marciana Marina Bay.
The Boat
THE OLD SALT
The Old Salt is a 53 feet jeannau from 2004, with 4 bedrooms. The kitchen is family run made by simple, local and healty products.
Our Itineraries
ELBA ISLAND
WEEKEND ON BOARD
We board in Portoferraio on friday night and we stay in Marciana Marina Bay by night.
We leave on Saturday morning shipping to west, with swimming stops throught the best bays.
The trip end in Porto Azzurro for the night, and starts again the day after discovering the other side of the island, with final stop around 4pm.
DAILY TRIP
We leave Marciana marina around 9:30 am, sailing west to Punta Fetovaia, discovering the wild side of the island. Swiming stops and back to Marciana around 5pm.

CAPRAIA ISLAND
WEEKEND ON BOARD
We board in Portoferraio on friday night and we stay in Marciana Marina Bay by night.
We leave on Saturday morning sailing for 3 hours to head Capraia, wild savage island.
We sail the west side with swimming stops and lunch break. We plan with our guest the best place to spend the night in. Back on Sanday morning sailing by Portoferraio.
DAILY TRIP
We leave Marciana marina around 8:30 am, sailing 3 hours to head Capraia, wild savage island where we spend the day swimming and discovering the best spots around the island. Back in Marciana around 6pm.

CORSICA
We board in Portoferraio on saturday afternoon and we stay in Marciana Marina Bay by night.
The morning after we sail to Capraia Island, where we spend the day and the night.
On sunday we sail to Macinaggio, and depends on weather condition we sail around the north cape to Saint Florant or south to Bastia and Porto Vecchio.

SARDINIA
We board in Portoferraio on saturday afternoon and we stay in Marciana Marina Bay by night.
Day 1 / Sunday: We wake up at 4am to sail to Porto Vecchio (Corsica) where we spend the night.
Day 2 / Monday: We sail to Sardinia and Bocche di Bonifacio to head in S. Teresa di Gallura.
Day 3 / Tuesday: We sail from S. Teresa to Budelli and its beautiful rose beach S. Maria, Spargi and stop in Maddelena late in the evening.
Day 4 / Wednesday: From Maddalena to Mortorio, Soffi and Porto Rotondo.
Day 5 / Thursday: From Porto Rotondo to Lavezzi with lunch break in Lavezzi?s bay with return to Porto Vecchio.
Day 6 / Friday: Back to Elba, to spend the night in Marciana Marina.
Day 7 / Saturday: Lunch on board with final stop in Portoferraio late evening.

TUSCAN ARCHIPELAGO
Trip of minimum duration of 1 week that may change depends on weather conditions.
We board in Portoferraio on saturday afternoon and we stay in Marciana Marina Bay by night. On Sunday we leave to Giglio Island where we spend the first nights, with stop in Pianosa Island. Next stop is Giannutri, natural reserve, and a visit to south side of Elba on the way back to Portoferraio.
